Ghana Day Festival and Highlife Concert in Switzerland

The Association of Ghana Unions, Switzerland (AGUS) in collaboration with the National Folklore Board organized the 4th Ghana Day Festival under the theme “Buy Ghana, See Ghana” to promote Ghanaian highlife music and artistes around the globe whiles promoting multilateral investments opportunities for Ghana.
The festival created an international networking platform for highlife artistes and promoted made in Ghana products. The event was first launched in Accra, Ghana on the 25th May, 2023 at the Accra Tourist information Centre.
The main event was held from 30th June to 1st July, 2023 at Helvetiaplatz, Zurich in Switzerland. Ghana’s Ambassador to Switzerland and the Mayor of Zurich graced the festival.
Artistes including Oheneba Kissi, Dada K.D. Adane Best, Dada Halfco, Epixode, Trigmatic, Aka Blay and the Abiza Band were there to perform. The festival witnessed the participation of nationals from Ghana, Germany, Italy, USA, UK, Gambia, Nigeria and the host nation.
