We organized a Periodic Reporting Capacity Building Workshop on Intangible Cultural Heritage. The purpose was to introduce Fifty (50) participants to UNESCO Periodic reporting mechanisms. Regional officers were called upon to support in the collection of data to facilitate the preparation of Ghana’s report. The workshop was held for all stakeholders across the country.
Participants supported by providing data from their respective agencies, institutions and in the submission of Ghana’s Periodic Report to UNESCO. We finalized and submitted Ghana’s Periodic Report for the first time on the state of Ghana’s Intangible Cultural Heritage elements to UNESCO on the 15th December, 2023.
