Ghana – Norway Cultural Exchange Programme Launched

The Ghana – Norway Cultural Exchange Programme, which was in partnership with Infinity Events, Kyei – Boateng Communications, International Theatre Institute-Ghana Chapter, Alan Showbiz, and Asor Bodyworks was officially launched in February, 2025. It is an event aimed at strengthening cultural ties between Ghana and Norway to promote cultural relations and cooperation.

The National Folklore Board (NFB) was established by an act of parliament to administer works of folklore on behalf of the Republic of Ghana. A person who intends to use folklore for a purpose other than that permitted are required to apply to the Board for permission at a fee determined by the Board. Money that accrues from fees is to be used for the preservation and promotion of Ghana folklore and art.
